The Heritage Corner Walk season kicks off with a bang, attracting a large group which included visitors from Manchester. Rain or shine the walk has never been cancelled, we have so far been blessed with good weather. Large or small group - the walk is informative and very sociable.

A special Heritage Corner Walk was held at Leeds University's
World Unite Festival 2015
An outdoor tour of the magical mystery of African history in Leeds. Royalty in antiquity, politicians and activists, a Nobel laureate and Victorian circus owner – all connected to Africa and Leeds University Campus.
Whilst the walk has so much to offer and is popular with the public, there is still much work to do to build awareness of the project in the university itself. It is hoped that other public engagement projects will attract the attention of those with an interest.
